FAQ's: Integrations

FAQ's: Integrations

When you start evaluating a new platform your marketing team will almost immediately start peppering you with questions, so here we've collated the most common questions we hear from marketing teams in relation to how the Cooperate platform integrates with your other marketing tools.

How will Cooperate integrate with my tools

1. Will Cooperate integrate with my CMS platform?

Yes, Cooperate can integrate with any CMS that your team uses.

However, the implementation of the integration will depend on the specific CMS - for example, Cooperate has pre-existing integrations for standard CMS's like Sitecore, Wordpress or Drupal, but if you have a customised/older CMS you may require a customised integration. We will work with your team to scope out the integration in details (be it standard or custom) to make sure that the Cooperate platform is integrated into your CMS in the way that you need.

Some of the more common CMS's we integrate to are:

  • Wordpress
  • Drupal
  • Sitecore
  • Squiz
  • SAP Hybris
  • Mura
  • Adobe Experience Manager
  • Joomla

2. Will Cooperate integrate with our existing marketing tech stack?

Yes, the Cooperate platform can easily integrate with any of your existing marketing tools.

At last count, there are over 5,000 marketing tools available in the market with many of them being smaller niche style products. The more common marketing tools that Cooperate is integrated too are those that sit 'downstream' - delivering or automating marketing to your customers (e.g. marketing automation, email marketing, social media management and tracking tools).

We have standard integrations with a number of core marketing automation platforms such as Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Pardot and Hubspot, and through our Zapier integration, you can connect the Cooperate platform with hundreds of different marketing tools.

Some of the more common marketing tools we integrate to are:

  • Marketo
  • Salesforce Marketing Cloud
  • Salesforce Pardot
  • Hubspot
  • Campaign Monitor
  • Mailchimp
  • Hootsuite
  • Google Tag Manager

3. What if we have an existing DAM?

While the Cooperate platform includes a Digital Asset Management feature, a number of our clients have existing DAM's in place which they simply integrate into the platform. This allows the DAM and Cooperate to easily sync and update assets while enabling your users to access DAM assets directly in the Cooperate platform.

Our team will work with you to scope out your needs for this integration.

4. What if we have an existing analytics engine?

The Cooperate platform offers built-in DOMO analytics are part of its packages. This is completely optional and if you have an existing BI tool that you use to measure performance you can certainly integrate this with the Cooperate platform. Our team will work with you to scope out your needs for this integration.

5. What about the sales team?

Enabling marketing and sales to better collaborate is an important part of the Cooperate platform, and this includes integrating your marketing operations with your CRM to ensure sales has the whole picture. While we can integrate with any cloud-based CRM the more common suspects are enterprise CRM solutions such as Salesforce and SAP.

6. What if we want to integrate with a tool not mentioned above?

Using our own public API, or Zapier, you can connect the Cooperate platform with almost any app or tool. If you're needing a customised integration with a key internal system then remember our team is on hand to help you through the scoping process to ensure the integration works as you need it to.

7. What is Zapier?

Zapier is a cloud-based integration builder, that enables you to connect your different tools together without needing to do a line of code. You can use Zapier to connect Cooperate with dozens of different tools, allowing you to streamline how your team's marketing work moves through different tools and avoid any double-ups.

8. Do we have to manage the integrations ourselves or can you help?

As always, the Cooperate team is on hand to help you to scope, build and execute any custom integrations you need, and if you're new to Zapier or just need a hand we can also help you to get those connections running smoothly.
